This class is designed to keep You and your gun in the fight. 

Weapon malfunctions can happen and without proper training on how to clear them properly and efficiently it can potentially cost you your life, seconds count in self defense situation. 

Injuries are also a high possibility in Self defense situations and being able to fix yourself / others with basic life saving skills (stop the bleed) is not only a vital part of carrying a gun but in our opinion, it’s MANDATORY.

Course Objectives:

You will learn how to properly and efficiently clear every known malfunction on a semi-auto pistol with both hands as well as one handed

 ( it’s a hand gun, not a HANDS gun) 

You will learn how to properly and efficiently apply a Tourniquet to yourself and others with both hands and single hand application. 

You will be put through multiple high stress scenario based training drills that will require you to apply a tourniquet to yourself and or someone else while moving to cover, engaging multiple targets from multiple positions and clearing malfunctions, Keeping yourself and your gun in the fight!

This is an Intermediate class, previous training with a reputable instructor/company is required as well as the ability to safely and efficiently work from a holster and have a basic understanding of shooting fundamentals. No medical experience is required to attend this class. 


Course Outline:

  • Safety/Med Brief

  • Cold Start

    (Everything below will be conducted with both hands as well as single handed only)

  • Perfect the Draw 

  • Recoil Management 

  • Reloads 

  • Malfunction Clearing

  • Use of Cover

  • Tourniquet Application 

  • Scenario Based Stress Inoculation Drills 

  • Top Shooter Drill

Required Equipment:

  • Ammunition:  375 rounds

  • Semi-auto pistol

  • Holster (NO leather or nylon holsters)

  • OWB OR AIWB

  • 3 Magazines

  • The ability to carry one spare mag ( sidecar, neomag, belt mounted mag carrier)

  • Eye and ear protection (electronic recommended)

  • Appropriate range attire (no open toe shoes or low-cut shirts)

  • Hat

  • Lunch & water

  • Pen & paper
