This class is designed for newer shooters as well as individuals that have been shooting their entire life but are not as proficient or as confident as they would like to be.
In this course you will learn how to Safely and efficiently manipulate your weapon while building the confidence in the ability to use your weapon with practical application in Self-Defense. We will establish baselines for each shooter so that you will understand your limitations and capabilities. You will walk away from this class with a knowledge-based understanding of the true fundamentals as well as the tools to self-diagnose and make corrections.

• Safety/Med Brief
• Mindset
• Equipment setup (sling/stock position/weapon mounted lights/pressure switches.
• Optic mounting procedures and Zeroing your optic.
• Loading/Unloading procedures.
• POA/POI from 0-400 yards and (CQB Offset)
• 7 fundamentals of shooting
• Ready positions and considerations inside of the home/compressed environments.
• Precision marksmanship
• Trigger control fundamentals
• Combat marksmanship
• Recoil management fundamentals
• Reloading (combat/tac reloads)
• Malfunction clearing
• Weapon maintenance and storage
• Debrief
Required Equipment:
• AR-15
• Sling
• 3 magazines
• Single belt mounted mag pouch (PC/chest rigs are welcome)
• Eye and ear protection (electronic recommended)
• Appropriate range attire (no open toe shoes or low-cut shirts)
• Hat
• Lunch & water
• Pen & paper
Ammunition: 200 rounds
Course Duration: 8 hours (8:00am-4:00pm)
